We are all part of something bigger.

The ETC. Ecosystem

Founded in 2014

The Spark

ETC didn’t begin with a business plan.

It began with a person standing back up.

Emily started ETC by Emily (as a single mom with an idea) solopreneur, running a concierge style staffing business. Just one woman showing up for shifts, building a name, and doing things differently. She had grit, gratitude, and the kind of work ethic you only find in someone who’s had to rebuild from rock bottom.

Her standard was simple but powerful:

Show up well. Inside and out.

She called it the Bright, Shiny, Happy People philosophy, not about perfection, but presence.

Looking the part.

Acting the part.

Bringing the kind of energy that lifts a room.

Because staffing isn’t just about showing up it’s about how you show up.

As the work grew, so did her vision. She began handpicking others like her, people in recovery, in transition, or simply ready for more and gave them the opportunity to rise too.

The Non Profit Backbone

Founded in 20

It’s tough. But no excuses. You’re stronger than your story.
— Emily Sadler

But she quickly saw the truth:

It’s not the job that keeps people from showing up.

It’s life.

No gas money.

No child care.

No uniform.

No one to call.

And sometimes no one who believes in them.

So Emily built All The Way Up, a nonprofit that supports people who are already helping themselves. It offers practical help rides, fees, life skills training and wraps it in a structure of trust, community, and accountability.

It’s not about fixing people.

It’s about removing the roadblocks that keep them stuck and telling them the truth along the way.

Emily doesn’t coddle. She calls people up.

She believes that people who’ve overcome addiction and adversity with the right structure often make the most loyal, hardworking, and focused team members you’ll ever find.

They know what it means to fight for their future.

And they don’t take the opportunity for granted.

The Cultural Hub

The ETC. Team at the Local Coffee Shop, in the early days of ETC.

At first, Emily and her growing team would meet at a local coffee shop, assigning shifts, sharing stories, and helping each other stay grounded. But eventually, even that wasn't enough.

She didn’t need a corporate office.

She needed a home base.

So she opened No Filter Coffee, a judgement free zone, a space where her team could drop in, recharge, connect, and belong.

Not a breakroom.

Not a boardroom.

A hub.

A place to be seen, supported, and reminded of who you’re becoming.

This Vision Expands

Wendy didn’t just see a small business, she saw a model for something much bigger.

ETC. Global Staffing

That’s when Wendy stepped back in.

The backstory, Wendy and Emily first crossed paths when Emily was just getting started with a small team. Wendy helped ETC by Emily expand into Las Vegas, building her website, making sales and setting up her first systems.

Though their paths diverged for a time, they stayed connected because Emily always says "once you're on the ETC team, you're on the team for life"

Wendy had spent her career building businesses.

Scaling systems.

Creating structure where there was chaos.

Championing thought leaders, encouraging them to think bigger and broadening their impact.

In 2025 when she met up again with Emily.

Wendy brought vision, language, structure, and scale to what Emily had started.

Wendy and Emily saw what most people miss:

That the future of work isn’t just digital. It’s deeply human and needs a heart.

And if the world is moving toward gig work, apps, and automation, we must build that future responsibly.

Because without connection, gig work breeds loneliness.

Without support, it leads to mental illness.

Without leadership, it creates chaos.

And without intention, it dehumanizes the very people doing the work.

ETC is more than a staffing agency, it’s full ecosystem designed to move people forward on purpose.

We don’t just fill shifts.

We build futures.

We don’t lead with judgment.

We lead with accountability and belief.

And we don’t believe second chances are a risk.

We believe they’re an asset.

Our teams are disciplined, grateful, and built differently because many of them know what it took to get here.
